Welcome aboard! If your AX looks like this: Then I'd say you were probably in the wrong place. Like this (except that bad boy bonnet ): and I'm on your side.

Hi there!
I reckon the AX GT is retro enough - agree with rmad though - it's gotta be tasteful.
Hey, it's older than my motor too!
What are the GT's like to drive? I had a brief dalliance with an AX one-litre once, and it wasn't an experience I'd like to repeat. I'm sure that a decent engine, sharper suspension and a five speeder make all the difference though.....?

Hi and welcome Your AX is older than my car too, but I also think that its a case of feeling 'Retro' too, I mean being a 70's child I feel as though I'm retro... or maybe thats just old

Welcome aboard.
Your AX is welcome as long as it's tastefully done, there are loads of styles of cars we talk about on here but all of them are at least a bit tasteful (except the chavvy ones that we take the p*ss out of! ;D ;D) To be honest we take almost anyone in around here, how do you think I got in?! ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Welcome Mr Cheese
I see you also visit the French Car Clubs forum.
I'm certain taht the AX GT is well on the way to retro cardome, Retro is a state of mind! Never had an AX but have owned two Visa GTi's and an XM estate so have Citroen blood in the veins, despite my first and only love being my Pug 104ZS.
Have fun

Wey Hey! thanks for the welcomes! NickB: The GT's are much more fun than the lower spec AX's: electrics ( allbeit French ) are ok, It came well equiped as standard etc & its like driving a kart, the thing loves B road!!!!! great acceleration, top end not great ( about 115) but its enough. (espeicially in an AX ) And they look great! rmad: My AX looks nowt like that!! thank god, i prefer playing with the engine,, So i reckon I'm in the right place! It looks near enough standard apart from the Morettes & No interior whatsoever.
