I've had spookiness with my Oldsmobiles too.
My first one, a 1967 Delta 88, came from Topeka in Kansas. My current one, a 1966 Ninety-Eight, came from . . . . .
. . . . . . Topeka in Kansas!
I took it to be a good omen when I saw where my second one was based, so I risked it and bought it. All worked out perfectly and I was lucky. I'm going to look in Topeka for my next one, which will be a 1959 model.

It'd be worth it to park 'em together and just boggle at the stories they could tell. If cars could talk. Which they can't... Ahem.
