1998 Peugeot 306 1.9 non-turbo diesel 5 door hatchback.
MOT Jan 2014.
6 months tax.
CD player.
Power steering.
New glowplugs, car starts first time.
Passed MOT first time, only advisories were a drop link 9or something piddly like that) and the front indicator bulbs are going a bit white instead of orange.
The MOT tester said he'd never seen one with such low emissions!
Nice 205 1.9 GTi alloys with near new 195/50/15 tyres.
I have owned this car for about 8 months and done thousands of miles in it including our family holiday last year, see picture! It's used everyday and is honestly one of the best cars I've ever had.

Obv. I'll get better pictures at some point and post them up.
Right, here's the big deal with this car:
It will do 45mpg fully loaded with a roofbox on and 50+mpg in normal use no problem.
Because it's NOT an HDi engine and it has a Bosch fuel pump you can legally and safely run this car on veg oil. Yes, veg oil!
This costs either £1.00 per litre new or FREE from your local chippy or restaurant if you ask them nicely!
If you use waste veg oil you can filter it yourself cheaply at home without the need for some expensive kit. I am more than happy to show the buyer/swapper how to do this, it's really simple.
Go and work it out if you like, fuel is either £1.00 per litre or free and it will do 50mpg. Compare that to your petrol car or most other diesels and work out how much it will save you in fuel costs, believe me I save an absolute fortune every single week. You do still need diesel but you hardly have to buy it.
This car will NOT attract comments such 'nice car mate' or 'wow, that's flash' etc. It's on old diesel, not a Ferrari so please be realistic!
It has dents and marks, the door lock is a bit chewed (my fault, tried to use wrong key in the dark!) and the aerial has broken off.
It is however completely and utterly reliable. I would drive to the end of the world and back in this car tomorrow if I had to.
It's only up for grabs because I've bought a 306 estate in the same colour with the same engine, you can see this for yourself when you view my car. I'd never sell this otherwise, it's been brilliant!
Roofbars included but roofbox isn't!
£595 offers welcomed upon viewing. Car is in Chester, Cheshire, close to motorway network and railway station.
Save yourself the bother of asking me 'what's the lowest price you'll take/how much for cash tonight/what's your best price' etc as I won't reply. Come and see it and if you like it make me an offer. On sale until deposit or full payment made. No 'txt tlkrs' no hp, no can I pay in 3 weeks time etc. You don't have to buy the car off me and I don't have to sell it to you! That makes me sound miserable but I'm not, I just don't suffer fools gladly!
