Was a few days around Carcassonne, in France, down near Pyraneese Mts... Grande truck, any ideas on make? Filthy Bimmer belonging to gypsies apparently.. Tidy Renault.. Patina.. Peugot tipper.. Citreon.. and almost tripped over this lovely BMW..

Truck's German...a Magirus Deutz.....they got taken over by Iveco in the late 80's.

That Chrysler Alpine is a proper shed! They used to look that like at about 4 years old over here. I think they still called them Simcas as well, I don't think France suffered the 'Chrysler' rebadge.
Now I do like that Pug 404 pick up.

Thats a Magirus Deutz you see em all over Africa as overlanders, looks like that one is one too. Cool truck if a bit slow, but wod' be in a rush in Afrca?

We had Alpines badged as Talbots over here, my uncle had one for some bizarre reason.... truly inexplicably bad cars... well, his one was a constant source of anguish!
Pug 404 really does it for me though!
