I'm not realy sure i want to do this, but i keep getting pangs for another cortina in my life, and its either the mini,capri or stellar that cops it, and i think the stellars the unlucky one.
bought it of a memeber on here a fair few months ago, put an mot on it, serviced most of the engine parts, changed oils etc and ive probably done 3 or 4 thousand miles in it, and its honestly never let me down, appart from a flat tyre!
my stellar is on a G, so i a later version,in non metalic light blue. it has springs shocker setup as a pose to double wishbone cortina based early ones. its a gsl model, so has central locking and electric windows, aswell as a heated rear screen!
car is properly solid, theres no structural rust anywhere, theres a few little areas that have been sanded down to remove surface rust and have a thin skim of filler to prevent any surface rust coming back, but there restricted to 3 or 4 20p sized marks on the entire car. interior is good, but not amazing, some sun damage to the door cards and a couple of bits of cracked trim.
it drives bob on, oil pressue when its warm isnt brilliant, but its had a new oil pump and its made no differnce, so it could be a dodgey gauge or just low oil pressure. it also has a slight whine in 3rd gear when you accelerate and let of, but theres no crunches and it engages the gear fine and never pops out etc.

I'm after a cortina I'm swap, only a cortina, not botherd which model, obviously a v8 mk2 estate would be lovely, but I'm realistic! it needs to have good test on it and not be an utter shed.I'm in no rush or massive want to get rid of it, so il be waiting for the right car.
car is located in the northwest, but if someones serious abowt doing an exchange I'm happy to drive/travel within reason a good distance.
