I sold the car a few years ago just before the Minor was finished to a then 21 year old (I was also 21 when I first drove it with V8 power!) from Sunderland.
He used it for that first year then for 2005 and 2006 it was off the road. Last I heard is he is doing some work to get it back on the road this year. I also heard he had bought a blower.
The owner posts on forums as Toughy or V8Reliant.
I have first refusal if he ever sells it!
Editing and watching the videos of the car do make me realise just how much fun it was......a fact I didnt really appreciate at the time

Hmm...At my last job, someone said 'my mate has a V8 Reliant....' and I didn't believe him :/
And that was based in Sunderland :/
John - Perhaps a blown RV8 or small-block Ford/Chevy next time...?

Does anyone know of the whereabouts of another V8 Kitten called Raiders of the lost ark. It was from rayleigh near southend in essex and was a well known car in its day (mid 80's) he could wheelie that car about 100 yards along the seafront if i remember right.

When it was first done was it blue? If not i have pic of another from a rod show in the late 80's early 90's but with a huge blower on it. Will have to buy a scanner. More to the point maybe a pc of my own would be better
