So this little honey is apparently owned by Sean Shokouh of JDM Palace (hence the JDMP plates). I freaking love it, although frankly I'm not a big MX5 fan and I never really like the pitcrew conversion before now. it's this shot here that gets me:

I love the rear quarter shots, but the Pit-Crew front makes the front-end too long and droopy, then the side profile looks terribly imbalanced as a result.
I'd look to see a Pit-Crew rear end on a [reasonably] stock style front end.

The chrome touches on the front do help - although to be bang on the front needs smoothing into the wings and the bonnet is the wrong shape.

With the first pic, if you squint a bit, it looks like someone's done something obscenely cheeky to a 250 GT Lusso.

However a Zoom rear on a standard-ish front would look good. Pit-Crew rear:

I hate it when you're right. the rear end isn't pit-crew HA! ;D One of the links I found about it said that this car has apparently been dubbed "The Pit Crew Miata" (hence the thread title) which is ironic considering. Side profile is surprisingly not as bad as I thought too: Have a shonky vid

I really love the PitCrew front end but this one seems "stuck-on" whereas it usually looks more blended in? Not sure that makes any sense. If I had a Miata I'd love to do this kind of transformation, standard front end isn't very interesting imho. The PitCrew rear end is lovely!

The one you posted Martin is notorious in Roadster circles for (in the kindest possible way) being a load of ultra-rare parts stuck to one car. It's a bit of a polariser to be honest, there's a lot that don't like it since if you know what you're looking at nothing matches, but in my opinion it works a hell of a lot better than it should. Suppose it's all a matter of opinion.

That straight side on looks quite good. Pointy front end with rounded back works well. Kind of like a rounded TVR wedge kind of look.
