yesterday i cleaned up the workshop and stumbled across a set of ATS Cups... hmmm.... i wanted to put them onto the Passat, but, hmm... just try it :  not bad.... don't want to bore you with another unfinished project in the readers rides section (i will do, as soon as i can start doing it... ;D ) so i just took some pictures. As i didn't see the car from underneath before, it was not 100% sure, that it will go back on the road some day...  but i like it.... thinking of NOT polishing the car and NOT refurbing the wheels... just lower it and put in the scirocco drivetrain.... and i was lucky; the Jetta was not welded before and there is no rust !   The rear axle mounts are fine, also the sills, rear quarter panels and the wheel arches are rust-free. The Jetta just looks old and dirty... so now it's time to find a scirocco for the mechanical parts.... |

The Jetta looks in really good condition underneath, and those wheels look ace on it! Ideally I'd say the best option is just to get it on the road, then give it to me... ;D

hmmm... i would, but the steering wheel is on the wrong side ;D
ah, by the way, the owner of the Jetta also gave a really cool period steering wheel, unfortunately i don't have pics yet, as i simply forgot to bring it home....
