to save this ending up in the sin bin, please add a price and location in the title (just hit edit) its in them there rules!!
I think its on the high side price wise with no mot but you never know, glws

Hi Dave why don't you add 12 month MOT and up the asking price I would be interested but live in Preston so collection would be hard-work  Cheers |

Are there any MoT advisories?
Any engine water or oil leaks?
Does it need a full exhaust or just a section or 2?
It's nearly 500 notes for a full exhaust system so put that with any MoT work,road tax,4 tyres and it could cost £1000+ to get it back on the road!
I'm genuinely interested but sorry not at the advertised price.

I'm told the whole system needs doing really, but I'm not sure as i havent checked. i bought it presuming it would need the whole lot doing, and i am well aware the cost of a new system. it was in daily use up until end of august when the mot and tax ran out. i know its been well looked after by the previous owner, and i can't see it needing much else other than exhaust and tyres for the MOT. if you are genuinely interested in the old girl, please PM or text me your offer, and we'l go from there. ive advertised it high, as people don't knock £20 off the asking price anymore and i don't want to give it away. ive seen rotten rolling shells on ebay fetch more than £1k. thanks, dave |

hi,
sorry I'm not looking to swap it against anything, the only reason I'm considering selling it, is ive got over 15 other projects on the go, and i was thinking the other night, i don't get alot of free time on weekends, so i would mot, tax and insure this van to use maybe 2 or 3 times a year. thats the only reason why I'm considering selling it.

ive just done an online check for mot history for the old girl.
in 2007 it failed on front disc pads only
in 2008 it failed on x1 tyre and poor handbrake only
in 2009 it passed straight away
in 2010 it passed straight away
in 2011 it passed straight away
the current mot expired on 2/9/2012. the road tax expired on 31/08/2012.
heres the list of advisories for the MOT in 2011:
Advisory Notice issued
Offside Rear Brake pipe slightly corroded (3.6.B.2c)
Nearside Front Brake pipe slightly corroded (3.6.B.2c)
Offside Front Brake pipe slightly corroded (3.6.B.2c)
Nearside Rear Front constant velocity joint gaiter deteriorated (2.5.C.1a)
Nearside Rear wheel bearing has slight play (2.6.2)
Offside Rear wheel bearing has slight play (2.6.2)
All 4 tyres close to legal limit
none of the above is anything really to worry about., few tyres, a CV gaitor, complete of wheel bearings need nipping up, and some of the brake lines have minor corrosion.
