hi here is my cab for sale. I don't really want to sell it but i need a quick sale as i need a deposit for a flat.
Its a 1997 on a 'P'
Tax till end of Feb 2013 and MOT till September 2013.
It's the 1.8 zetec
mileage is around 137k

I bought this off some friends in October. They had owned it nearly 7 years. My friend done a lot of work to it but unfortunately they have split and the paperwork/receipts have been lost.
I know in the last year it has had a new clutch, new cambelt and waterpump, new lower arms, and new tyres.
It is very reliable. The hood is mohair and in good condition but could do with a clean. I have the hood cleaner just no time to do it. The roof does not leak and there are no rips or tears. It is also electric and works fine.
There are some marks round it including some rust at the bottom of the drivers door. The sills are in primer because my friend had ground some surface rust away and primed it because he wanted to fit the GTI style sideskirts but never got round to it.
The drivers door lock is temperemental when unlocking but locks fine. I unlock it using the passenger door. Obviously it has central locking, 4 electric windows, adjustable steering column as per Ghia spec.
The interior is full leather which is really rare. Apparently a 2 grand option when new! It also has an Alpine cd player with lead to connect your Iphone.
Overall its a good car but i have no choice to sell it as i need to find somewhere to live
It would be a great car to clean up and cruise around in the summer.
