Its the first time I've been to Newark Autojumble in a long tiome, maybe more than a year. I went with my long time partner-in-crime Steve, and for the first time we were not in a classic so had to park in the pleb's car park. It was cold and windswept as Newark always is. The turnout on the showfield was very good considering the time of year. We didn't have much of a jumble though. Steve managed to find some rear hub seals for his 1930s Morris 10 for £1. Seems to be turning into more of a car boot sale with loads of trash on sale rather than the good old days where it was all car junk. However we had a jolly time, ate deathburgers and saw a couple of people we knew. I saw some cars belonging to RR'ers there but not the peple attached to the cars.
I grabbed a few photos of some of the cars there. Tended to pick the oddball and unusual stuff rather than the Farinas, Minors, MGs, Triumphs.
There wewre More Marinas there than I've seen in one place evAh!
Didn't get a photo of it but on the way home we were passed by a MINT Mk1 Transit LWB with twin rear wheels, lift up rear door in white. Looked gorgeous, didn't see it at Newark though.
Photos are a little shonky as they were taken on my phone, and I notice I managed to get my finger on the lens in a couple
We were slightly annoyed that we were shown to the pleb's car park in Steves immaculate Pug 205 but on the show pitch wasa M reg Citroen AX 5 door! Someone's blagging skills beats ours...
