Suffering from severe inner wing, sill and scuttle rot which has warped the shell but ive spotted this on ebay It looks like it could be the anwser to my problems. Ive mailed the seller and asked him for some better pictures and close ups of the areas that have killed Bruce. My thoughts are that with the two cars I could make one nice tidy one. The doors that are ropey on this one for instance are in good order on Bruce, as is my dashboard. What do you people think, worth a punt? Oh and is there anyone near Cheltenham that could give it a once over, no worries if you can't I'm hoping for some nice detailed pics through to look at. If it looks good enough in them i'll be taking a drive. Basicly the only thing id need this car for is its shell as everything else on my current 1300 is perfectly servicable.

	Worth considering - but beware of the identity issues. Bear in mind that you'll basically be putting some panels from yours onto this one, so it will need to retain the registration no. from this one. HOWEVER, as it's been "reshelled" if it doesn't have the V5 from the SHELL* you can't do anything with it legally other than cut out repair sections to weld into yours. And that'll be a LOT of work, ideally on a jig. *Although it looks as though you might be in luck, as the ebay details list it as a 1969 car.
	Caution: As the buoys marking the shoals are often out of position, mariners are cautioned to be on their guard when navigating these shores 75 Imp 72 Clan - What? An update? Never!

	You could put the reg from yours onto that shell if you wanted (not that theres any great advantage one way or the other). Obv it wouldnt pay to post all the gory details up on the web.

	I'm not really that bothered about keeping my reg number its not anything special although Bruce is a 1967 car. If I can transfer the reg its a bonus. It'd be getting Bruce's engine as well that I'm currently in the process of lightly tweaking during the rebuild. Spitfire camshaft, reprofiled combustion chambers and a reground and balanced crankshaft.

	Sounds like a great idea to me. Also you will have a load of extra spares including the fact that if its an unfinished re shell then the bits he put on it should theoretically be good. also you can use the old engine as a base for the next level engine build.
