Just got back from Canterbury B&Q and they had a huge display of junk all for £1... packs of cable ties, block connectors, craft knives, string, funny pre-bent screwdriver/pick things, lots of good stuff... if it's nationwide get yourself down there this weekend!

it doesn't matter if it's a Morris Marina or a Toyota Celica - it's what you do with it that counts

Yeah I bagged one of those gennys from 'Be-in-a-Queue', wasn't sure if it would be up to the job of grinders and welders but by the sounds of it I should be ok Might go back and snoop around for these other bargains

Be in a Queue! always but you don't mind cos youre about to play with a new power tool or finish a lingering job! The £1 is a bit like a pound shop unsurprisingly, Asda and anyone tuned into taking loose change off passing could be customers is onto it its a good idea but careful you don't buy tat you don't need, i have been a sucker for it!!!!

To get a standard A40 this low, you'd have to dig a hole to put it in

Bought some 1/2 price wood chissels , a bunch of cheap screwdrivers, a pack of 10 large-ish plactic clamps (£5) yesterday at B&Q......
More importantly though..... got a nice little 500watt, 16mm chuck size with 9speed ratios.... Bench drill press for £30.00 , was marked down from £60.00 so I was pretty chuffed.
Now just need a 5 foot drillpress, and a project to use all the tools on.... !!!!
