Alloy wheels with good tyres. (Space saver spare)
Good honest car but has issues.
Mainly no 5th gear. Been told his is common & either a selector fork of the 5th gear cog. Both easy fix apparently.
Burning oil. This seems to be due to blocked oil channels so it's blowing up into the air filter & burning through the carb. This would explain the high tickover too.
All in all though a good, basic CHEAP VW. Only asking £350ono as the replacement has already arrived!
