knitted BMW cushion for the passenger (if such a thing exists!) Old skool grey Gameboy for the glovebox (mint conditoin of course) Gotta go for the tweed driving gloves as pictured in the retro style one!!
I'm probably not helping but that second picture really does epitimise 'old (s)kool'

Those wood kits were fairly popular on BMWs in the '80s though! ;D

E30 owners would kill for your interior! I wouldn't change a thing, except the tech2 wheel - I prefer the tech1 ![:P](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/tongue.png)

I don't see your E30 interior as significantly less retro than the VW - just a lot posher and blacker! Narrow pleated leather is a very period look - I can't think of any cars made after the early 1990s which use this treatment. Nearly everything uses leather sewn together in much larger panels. I suspect this could be new tanning techniques leading to a fall in the price of leather. The leather used in these looks and feels different to modern leather, certainly. I worry that beads could indent the leather - which is beautiful on your car. BMW have tried very hard to say 'sportscar' with this - rather than basking plutocrat which is my impression of the cigars. The enjoyment of cigars is more of a Jaguar thing. Few cars place the reckless enjoyment of Fidel's finest so centrally to their design as an older XJ6. Naturally, it goes without saying that any old school smoker's er... smoker should provide a ashtray with cigar holder for every occupant - that's a given. But Jaguar went further, including an in-car humidor, smoking tools and even a pipe holder on the options list. Consequently lots of old Jags stink of old cigar. David

Is it a e30 sport ?? I love that standard interior.. My dad had that in his 325i Sport back in 1988 When he bought it new... U need an old 1985 Mercedes or old jag if u want the retro brown look, don't kill the bmw interior it's an amazing retro piece of history.... Just my opinion anyway ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png)
