I miss my old 1602, It was the first "classic" car I owned after my wife saved up for it as a 30th birthday present. It was a great car but it needed restoring really, the seat colour had faded and started to tear and it kept cutting out due to curse word in the tank, I ended up selling it for my Opel Kadett but in hindsight I wish i hanged onto to and spent the money getting the rust sorted properly. 1975 BMW 1602 Lux by Trigger's Retro Road Tests!, on Flickr

It's with mixed emotions that I consider the very recent sale of my Polo. There is a great deal of relief, especially since it went to guz from here who is, by all accounts, giving the car the love I couldn't because of what 2012 did to me. I doubt I'll ever have a car that was quite what the Polo was to me, even if I bought another Polo and did exactly the same things. There's something about your first car that I doubt you can ever replicate. retrorides.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=readersrides&action=display&thread=82305&page=1

Has to be my old Volvo 850R, 300bhp, licked flames on over run, general embarrased most things on the road, sold it to buy a B5 Audi S4 bi-turbo.
