never thought I'd see the day, but yes I'm am now a vauxhall owner landed on my drive saturday, after I fitted a fuel pump to it and drained the 6 year old petrol out of the poor old thing. some injector cleaner and it ran like a dream, almost spooky quiet! its not worthy of a readers ride thread so I thought I'd stick it up in here. been keeping quiet about it until today because I wasn't sure if it was going to bomb out at the MOT, but it failed on a sticky rear brake, thats all! spacekadett took it to work with him this morning, and was bringing it back at lunch, but the fuel pump I fitted has died so now it sits at spacekadetts work, he is going to fit a temporary pump (bmw one that fits ) and free the brake off to get an MOT. I would do it myself, but have no way of collecting it ATM, free's up my workload anyway;D heres some pics of what it actually is- and under the bonnet ;D 3 litres of 24 valve goodness not bad for sitting in a chicken shed for 3 years! should tidy up nice. its an ex beds police one. "its got cop shocks, cop motor, cop tyres" LOLz ;D who wants to guess the meagre sum that its cost me? ;D

BC, i'll be needing a fuel pump (might be something dodgy with BMW pumps) and if you have a spare alloy as one is porous. the centre caps are lying in the car. not bad for a free car is it ;D

yes, its a manual. I'm quite delighted with TBH bit of grot on O/S/R arch, and a couple of small blisters, will sort them all out in warmer climes.

Very nice Still think you should keep your capri as well though capri has to go, its peeed me right off. might get another somewhen, its not going 'cos this has come up. I can get 4 cars on the drive and still not annoy my neighbours. someones going to get a bargain, I need the thinking space as much as anything else! got the 02 to finish, minor engine to build and i was hoping to take my bike test this year. JS, will prolly be in the minor, as the senny needs ins & tax etc.
