Baby stuff you say? i don't envy you that one bit! I have two daughters in their 20s who have both had babys in the last couple of years and as much as i love my grand kids, babys do seem to be selfish, inconsiderate little things! I don't remember it being quite so much work! Anyway the main thing is you are obviously a man that likes to plan for every eventuality , so buying more wheels was a very sensible thing to do as you never know when the wheels you already have might suddenly stop being round or you might accidentally drunkenly buy more cars on ebay

Should you end up with four too many 4x98 silly offset wheels come RRG and fancy a swap with mine I would be very much interested. I'd really like some 15s or 16s for the 222, partially because of grenade's thread...

You can use wobble bolts and spacers like I did or just go right ahead and screw the rims to the 4x98 Maz hubs. They will fit.
Sorry for the hijack...

Well I feel I owe you all an apology. The last time I drove this car was at the Gathering. The 2014 Gathering. Anyway it went through the MOT a couple of weeks ago and I am now dragging it up from the depths to finally finish it off and probably punt it on because I just don't use it. My last post in here I said I had still failed at seats but bought yet moar wheels. Fast forward a year or so and I still haven't got the bloody seats in and have bought yet another set of wheels. Fuxake EmDee. Here is a pic from this morning. The whole car is covered in algae and neglect. The wheels that were on there were a black set of Q4 Speedlines with tragic high offsets and shocking finger paint and potato stylee refurbings. they were meant to be winter wheels for this or the Multipla, but I discovered that I hate them. They looked well shyte. So I decided to do a wheel buying and give it a wash. Instant mojo! Cheapo Ebay Lenso fake splits in 16" flavour with like-new Bridgestone tyres. They were badly listed and cheap so I had low expectations, but it appears I have aced the bad listing lottery - when I got to see them it turned out they are completely unscuffed and thankfully 4x98 The listing said 95 pcd and I couldn't think of anything that they could have been on so I crossed my fingers, closed my eyes and bid! Not got the centres on yet cause I want to lose the Lenso badges and pop something else in there, but the bubble wrap in the bag o' centres tells me they've been treated well. Anyway, back in the room, time to sort out these seats now...

I'm from Leicester so probably saw this punting around at some point. I love 155's and Alfa Romeo's in general just never brave enough to own one. Shame you're selling though but it's better to be used by someone else. Thoroughly enjoyed both your threads. There's a Alfa Gtv and a Lancia Y10 in Leicester both neglected you need a trip back to rescue them and give them the old Emdee treatment.
P.s damn you for making me want a Multipla not once but twice!

P.s damn you for making me want a Multipla not once but twice! You don't need to be that brave, this thing has been super reliable, with only the several sumps and a new clutch needing sorting Glad people are starting to feel the love for the Multiplas now, they're such a good car. I really should update my Polo thread too, there's been quite a bit of progress but no posts for years! Alfa is going really nicely though. Took it out for a drive with Lady EmDee and Mini EmDee the other day and papped some pics whilst parked up in glamorous Sutton. Still not got the seats in yet, but progress is being made. Bought some paint for the centres too, which are still missing from the car. Said pics: I raised the front end a little for the MOT, which was a month ago now but not dropped it back down yet, so please excuse the reverse rake

Lovely, now get on with making those seats fit!
What did you use as a blank for the rear keep fit Windows? Mk2 golfs just have a blank plug when they have electric fitted as standard.

Found this pic on my phone showing where this was a week ago: Should really put it in the post above, but you get the idea. Tragic offset and algae galore. Lovely, now get on with making those seats fit! What did you use as a blank for the rear keep fit Windows? Mk2 golfs just have a blank plug when they have electric fitted as standard. Yeah the seats are next on the list. I have plans for the keep-fit-hole-delete, but no pics yet. Centre caps are on now. As you can see they are ugly - and say Lenso on them. Brewed up some hot water and chucked some satin black at them. Much better. Repainted the frankly knackered splitter before I went in, seat fitting up next.

Champagne colour really suits the lines of the car.
Has bronze wheel centres already crossed your mind?
Oh, and a supercharger.

Wigwam Breadbins, long time no Alfa. So finally the unimaginable has occurred. Big thanks to mantaphil for his hard graft. He chucked an alternator in there too since it went while it was with him. One of those parts that is at the back of the engine and bigger than any gap around it so I hear it caused some swear words As you can see in the last pic, there is some carpet work required, but right now I don't care, its just nice to have those b******s in. Nearly ready for the 10 day road trip to the Raceism show in Poland
