Never understood the point of "massive want" but "no cash" quotes til now! Massive want, not enough cash, too many other toys and clearly not enough time! GLWS - hate using the sensible head :-(

Lol cheers buddy.. I must admit I was for a minute racking my brains to what wheels I might need banding for a second to offer a deal.. ha ha.. Si Always room for deals ;p lol I'm pretty much locked down this month with work and shows but if by some strange twisted way everyone with intentions of buying it turns out to not have the cash/time/space /(insert excuses for not winging here) and it doesn't go wel see if we can sort something on it

well.... its gone.. after loads of offers the buyer arrive as he said he would and drove it away... not without issues! typical it fired up from stone cold fine he drove it to my house and it developed a misfire.. the one thing i could be certain about on this car is that it always ran fine and as soon as someone comes to buy it it missbehaves so i have a misfiring triumph and a guy whos driven 2 hours plus to drive it back home and this happens.. i feel like curse word now i did what i could to get it running better but with limited time tools and spares its not much better.. so i took a big hit on the price and he still had it.. i just hope it clears and he gets home ok really sorry pedro i hope you make it... i hate this car its not been good to me ive lost hundreds but i hope its good to its new owner and am looking forward to seeing the progress... si

Hahaha jayzus Christ! Looking back, being a total classic amateur at the time, I wonder what on earth lead me to buy this car?!! Amazing looking back just how grotty it looked and still I drove it home for over 3 hours in the thickest of fog! Also funny how Your old viva now lives within minutes of this car which also lives with my VX490 that used to share a barn with your old viva... Small world!! True to his word, the Herald drove perfectly for months and months never missing a beat, battled the coldest winter, ploughed through snow, clocked on average 250miles a week! Until I removed the engine Now looks like this, undergoing a massive chassis rework ready for drag racing and every day street use Just on my way to see it again to see how he's getting on again :-)
