Here for sale is my wifes triumph herald estate.
Its a tatty old bus. Looks nice from a distance and is taxed and tested till july.
It has not been used much as it has a leaking fuel tank. Needs replacing or repairing with petseal etc..
The other things it would need for next mot are. Pair of track rod ends. (Got new ones just not fitted). And rhf rear lower wishbone bush is worn. However its runs stops steers etc fine..
Its not a clean or tidy example. In fact its quite rough. Bad paint job etc. There is loads of stuff you would need to do to get it to a high standard. However do the little things above and drive it daily..cheep and tax free estate.
It has wide spitfire wheelsnon the rear and vitesse on front lowered rear on lowering block and spax adjustables. Front on lowering springs and spax adjustables.
Lucus p700 lights fitted. Spax and rear radius arms are poly bushed. Vitesse dash fitted so has rev counter etc (maybe spitfire tacho? As it works with 4 cylinder).
Twin carbs fitted from a spit too.
Ive changed the oil and filter. Axle oil and gearbox oil. Done tapets re sealed rocker cover. Set up carbs fitted new points and condencer. Rebuilt fuel pump. Regreased and adjusted front wheel bearings etc. Re sealed heater box. .
It looks good in pics but please come and see it in the flesh and drive it I don't want to misslead anyone like I was when I bought it. I will be loosing plenty of money on this since my ebay (mistake)
However ive done loads of work to get it to a usable standard.
