Hi Guys Has anyone got an old chainset similar to the one in the picture that they would sell cheap?? (i`ve checked Ebay etc but they just seem to list Campag etc while these are basic Raleigh/Dawes ones) I need it to finish off my Dawes Kingpin Folding bike not bothered about brand or how clean etc just must look similar to these Cheers Adrian

Search 'vintage crankset' in ebay and loads of options come up.
The ones in the OP are most definitely not original equipment on any folding bike though! All Dawes Kingpins/Raleigh Twenties/other 70s folders came with steel cottered cranks. You'll need a different BB spindle to install cotterless cranks (apologies if I'm teaching you to suck eggs!)

My Kingpin is very much modified (i`ll post some pictures when its finished) I was just after some lightweight crank arms that are about the same age without buying Campag/Shimano Cheers Adrian

My Kingpin is very much modified (i`ll post some pictures when its finished) Looking forward to it. Sadly I sold my slightly modified Kingpin last week due to imminent emigration.

Dawes has a standard thread 68mm bb shell. So easier to fit other BBs and cranks in there
