So here we have for sale my beloved cinquecento sporting, 1997 P, 108,000m
MOT until JULY 10th
TAX until end JULY
I have owned this car since december 2006 and I am now selling it as have bought an MG ZR
This car has every MOT certificate since new, as well as almost every single receipt etc for parts etc since it was new, a thick folder full.
I have covered around 60,000 miles in it, and every mile gave a smile, worthy of noting that although this car has done over 100,000 miles the mileage I have covered has been mostly motorway miles where we travel to motosport events doing computerised lap scoring, its had an easy life considering but it has been used as a workhorse for us.
Plus points
Loads of history with it, from before I got it and during the time I have owned it.
100% mechanically good and 100% reliable.
Head gasket replaced two years ago, no overheating issues, cooling system all good, good heater etc, coolant was recently replaced ready for winter in november.
Engine is sweet, lovely and smooth with no flat spots or hesitation
Everything works! it has central locking, elec windows.
New front tyres.
Front suspension arms replaced during 2011.
Good brakes inc handbrake with no issues.
Rare janspeed dtm exhaust, quality item and not loud.
Lowered uprated springs.
Poly bushed inner and outer arb bushes.
Poly bush engine mounting.
Has inner sunroof cover [often lost]
NO rust on the cars main structure.
Amazing fuel consumption.
Cheap tax and insurance.
Passed every mot in my ownership first time every time because it has been well maintained mechanically
Bad points
Although this car looks bright and good after it has been cleaned, there are some bodywork issues that are easy to sort such as minor scuffs and paint crazing on the front and rear bumpers.
The front edge of the bonnet has rusted as it was aftermarket at some point in its past and this will need replacing, I was gonna do all this in fact I even bought a compressor with the job in mind, but I just didnt get round to it, the drivers door top was bent back in 2007 as somebody tried to break into it where I live, no other related damage and the door top was bent back into place but there is some small dents at the top of the door as you might expect, this isnt something I was bothered about but I wanted to describe it anyway so that we are all clear, all these parts can be bought off ebay or breakers to sort out, note that the parts that need looking at are all removable from the car if you want to repaint them or replace them.
The drivers seat is worn on the side bolster, quite a usual thing this and it has only worn through during 2012, the seat is still nice and supportive.
No stereo, theres a cubby hole in its place, there are speaker grilles in the rear shelf but no speakers are fitted
Due to the recent curse word weather I have only managed to give it a quick jet wash for the pics, the car interior needs to be vacuumed
I would like the new owner of this car to be into small fiats, the car has years and years left in it due to its rust free shell, so would be cool for somebody to show it some proper care cosmetically to make a really brilliant car, and its the best colour - yellow!

As previously stated the car has high mileage, but all recorded via its mot and parts history and the car mechanically has wanted for nothing in that department, it doesnt burn oil or use any water, it has been mega reliable overall and starts first time every time, it is happy to be chugged around town and even happier sat at 70mph on the motorway all day, and of course loads of fun on twisty A roads.
The car is mot'd until 10th july 2013, and taxed until end of july 2013 too, it is currently in daily use and not laid up awaiting a sale
Come and see it, drive it [subject to insurance] or let me take you for a drive in it on a mixture of local roads consisting of b road and duel carriageway within 2 mins
