Owned this for about 2 months and now the post has been copied from the previous owner, I have only covered 1000 miles
Details of the car are below:
T reg (1999) Lexus IS200 SE Navigator
6 speed manual gearbox
2.0 Inline6 engine with VVTi
Electric Windows (front and rear)
Electric (heated & folding) wingmirrors
Electric Sunroof
Heated front seats
Electronically adjustable drivers seat (passenger is manual)
Traction Control
Air Conditioning
Snow Mode (aka traveller mode as it saves fuel by restricting throttle, thus power)
Enough airbags to float the titanic
ABS
Don't let the mileage put you off, it's had the belts changed and drives beautifully and on what you can clearly hear and feel the VVTI switchover.
It's completely standard, except for a couple of mods, literally, such as a set of bronze Rota Torques with blue nuts and valve stems which set the car off nicely, a TRD ball knob and TRD rear light covers
Also an induction kit and carbon 3" exhaust
The car has a superb speaker package, with upgraded infinity speakers all round - paired with the right head unit, your music will sound amazing! The car will not come with a stereo, however it will have the amp bypass kit fitted so you can install a stereo of your chosing.
NOTES:
The seats are all half leather / alcantra and are very supportive and comfortable.
The tax expires at the end of Feb 2013 and the MOT wilo be fresh this friday
Mileage is 154k
BAD POINTS:
* The drivers side seat boulster is a little worn.
* The paint is in great condition, but could do with a machine polish to get out fine scratching for a car of it's age - the rear bumper in particular. There are a couple of parking dings too - but I'm being very critical here.
* At some point in the car's life, it's had a knock on the front meaning it's a cat C, however it was professionally repaired to a high standard and has been VOSA inspected guarunteeing it's OK.
* Lastly, the car lets out a tiny puff of smoke on startup after it's been left for a day or so. It's been like this since I've owned it and it hasn't gotten worse so it's not really an issue at all.
Due to the little issues, and for a quick sale, I'm asking for an incredibly good price.
Finally, as a sweetener, it will come with a set of standard (100% legal) numberplates too - just in case you are concerned.
I would like only £1500 Ono for this.
Please note: the pics show skirts, fog lights, window diffusers and doesn't sit lower than it does now, these are the last owners pics but other than that it's the same
I would rather a trade, I am interested in most things J and rear wheel drive with turbos
But Pm me with anything you think might take my fancy
