The lady Doris has bought a new motor, hence her old one must go.
It's a Rover 414, in Tahiti Blue I beleive. Very Low milage, showing 54k on the clock. 5,000 miles in last 3 years. Saloon not hatchback. She tells me it is the Honda engine, which apparently makes a difference. 4 door, it's taxed and MOT'd. Tax is due end of Jan, MOT is June next year.
It was well looked after, she had it off a relative, and he was fussy. Kept all the invoices for everything. Got all the MOTs etc.
There are a number of things that need attention, none of which should pose a problem for a Rover nut.
The central locking doesn't work on drivers door.
There are a couple of scratches down passenger side which were presumably done by some slapper with a pushchair.
There is also a leak from the roof, which could be a window needs sealing.
There is also a problem with the heating, it apparently gets hot very quickly, and the lights vary in brightness with throttle. Thats wierd. New battery last winter.
So it does need some work, but should do somebody for a couple of years as a clunker, cheap to run and £135 tax for year.
Open to offers around 450 quid.
Also has a CD player, JVC I think.
