I have been offered this bike and will probably end up buying it for my grandson , not 100% sure yet. Can anyone tell me how old it is , I've guessed at late 60's maybe early 70's but I'm not a bike expert by any means.

I'd take a total punt at 60s.
Largely irrelevant though, as it's frickin cool!

mate had one of these back in the day. I was born '62 so would say very early 70's (assume it's on 20" wheels)

The Weinmann brakes look like the 70s castings. They might have a date stamp on the back of the caliper. I had 4 Minisprint frames. 1 was a complete bike. I rebuilt one. Fitted 20" mtb forks, BMX brakes, BMX 22.2mm seat pin. SR custom alloy cranks, painted it orange. Picture is. Raleigh Grifter, Puch Minisprint, 6 speed lil blue bike, 3 speed BMX, 6 speed BMX Minisprints have a slightly bigger headset cups than normal, where they go into the head tube.

I can't see the pics of this, but I have a mini sprint complete with the banana seat, ape hangers etc. I had one as a kid and loved it, so when it came up on eBay I couldn't resist.
