My wife and I are looking at buying an early 60's Chevy pickup truck. So I have been reading and registered on some forums, including HAMB While reading today I found this thread..... Go take a look and be inspired by people's spirit and revitalize your faith in the youth of today...... My son does not know the difference between a screw and a nail, but he can program a computer, probably hack into NASA or some other clever stuff, and all I want is for him to know the difference between petrol and diesel..... he is 17, so its never going to happen, is it? ANYWAY.....Take a look in here...... 67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/showthread.php?t=543603Logan shows that America has a future.

Impressive. There's a lad on Scimitarweb who's been into Reliants for a couple of years (following from his dad) who has just turned 15 about a month ago. He has a couple of cars already, and actively participates and contributes to the forum. It's good to see for sure.

If I have kids, I'd far rather them be into cars than football or being a slapper, but I can't guarantee that's what will happen.
Not trying to start an argument, was just a sarcy comment on my behalf

Got something in my eye....... Great stuff, but I'm sure the guys on this forum would pretty much do the same. (not an excuse for anyone to pretend to be a 12 year old petrol head!!!!!!) hope he gets it done though, Boyd and Chip of the future right there.

I suspect he will end up working in New York making more money than he can spend, like his dad. I have much faith that there will always be a core of young guys like you looking after the world as we love it.

I've a friend doing a Mazda V6 transplant into Locost and it's a lady who has the good info on LocostBuilders forum. She also machines the bespoke parts for other guys doing the conversion.

I'd say your mum should appreciate that you have an interest, get out in the fresh air, and are learning some practical skills.

My biggest is that more and more young people lose the basic skills needed to survive. Witching The Gadget Show recently I was asked "what does a suspension do?" Which I loved as it allowed me to at least discuss something other than what new mobile phone ir laptop he needed.

I'm 23 and I've had my daily-driver mk1 Tina for a year and a half now, I don't think I'm ever selling it or acquiring a car without points & carb. I had never done an oil change before, I'm slowly learning mechanical stuff and all that, I'm planning on changing carreers for that Actually RR has put very nasty plans for a slammed rat+metalflake touches pre-aeroflow mk1 Cortina with a rotary in it. Bad, bad RR.
