Bit of a weird one but I know the answers will be on here.
I have a buddy who is being transfered to RAF Lakenheath in the new year.
He wants to bring his 1963 Chevy pickup out with him to use as personal transport and then take it back when he returns at the end of his tour.
He loves Retros etc and wants to become part of the scene here when not working b
What are the rules regarding MOT, taxes etc ??
Any help or advice appreciated.
Thanks
Rian.

There you go. www.mildenhallautocentre.ltd.uk/These guys are local and specialize if anyone is interested. Here is a response from Al on R&S Talk to Jean at:
Mildenhall Auto Centre
They've been looking after US personnel and motors off the bases for many years, they're right next to Mildenhall base, 10 minutes from Lakenheath. They're also about the fastest way you'll get a late model US import SVA'd and on the road in the UK, I had my Dodge from the the docks and on the road within a week. Very highly recommended, if he's at Lakenheath I wouldn't go anywhere else and they understand the old stuff too Al
