Okay this started off with me thinking about improving the PCD database,.. and then realising there was a lot of data entry for one person,.. and then realising that I couldn't validate that data entry in any way shape or form... and it has ended up up here,.. at the start. So if you will, take a look at this : www.retro-rides.com/MakeModel/default.aspxIt is a tool for collecting data on all Makes and Models of cars.. this will form the backbone of the new PCD database. As you can see (if you are eagle eyed) this is version 0.1, simply because it is the first version. However there are a number of things missing that will be added in due course. So if you can all have a look through and add a handful, particularly if its your area of expertise, that would be great. Even if you just add a Make because its not on the list, that will be grand. There is no cut off for dates on cars, I'd like this to be pretty darn comprehensive. -David

Remember to include Mk numbers as well like Escort Mk1 and Escort Mk2
On cars build by chassis/model code don't forget to include that in brackets .. like Sunny (B310), Sunny (B210) etc. Also all derivations would be useful so Sunny 140Y (B310) Coupe, Sunny 140Y (B310) Estate etc. etc.

I'll have a bash at the zimmers when I'm not drinking, unless hairnet does some of them. thing is, e30s finished 1990 officially, but the estates (tourers) and convertibles carried on until '94, the e36 saloon and coupe had been out for like 4 years. it might be my drink addled brain, but can this be taken into account?

done the rx7s. got my info from here so don't blame me if I'm wrong! www.rx7-uk.co.uk/rx7stat.htmnow there was 2 different end dates for the FD (although i find it hard to believe they stopped making UK ones in 1994!). whats the script with different years for different countries? i put whichever date was later. that ok?
