Well, I thought as I'm a long time reader 1st time poster, I should put up some pics of my wee Civic. My grandpa had this from nearly new, then my Gran, and I inherited it in January of this year. I've been working on just keeping it road legal for now. It has only just passed 40k miles, and from what I can work out on how many left, this is the last road legal one... Anyway, here are some pics Day I picked it up Then I bought some BBS RM's for it I also added a full sound system, had to change the speakers as the years had taken their toll on them, and added a JDM Momo steering wheel And most recently, direct from the US of A, some amber front lights.

Thanks guys, I've been looking for a decent forum, as I couldn't find anything for this car at all. Next step I think is going to be lowering.

Saloons rather rare and short lived .Shame they didn't do a sporty version -i think this was only Civic saloon to go without

I've considered trying to make this a bit "sporty" but I'm not too sure, might just keep it as a wee cruiser just now.

Both brown and driven by old geezers. I have a real soft spot for mine but they are slow. Mine has really rusty rear arches (common issue). They can look ace though

I've seen the white one before, That was kinda my inspiration. My back arches are good, has had a patch at the rear of each sill, but that's it welding wise. It does however have rust round the front and rear windscreen. I've never seen another one round here. I think I'm just going to stick some springs on mine, don't fancy shelling out £500+ for coilovers just yet.

4guk or crxuk are the forums you want for all things civic.

I stay in Bothwell, so going by Glezgy, you'll not be too far. Although I usually drive about in my Blue BMW coupe.

You can then have coilovers for £185, however immediately throw away the front springs and fit some 500lb 9" springs from Rally Design as the stock TA Technix ones are far too soft and ride horribly. Buy some Top Hat style top mounts, and do the Shock trick to give maximum drop but retain decent travel. My Civic 'loon has a 6-page feature in Fast Car this month if you fancy a look.

Very nice, still a classy shape. Don't really understand the attraction of cheaper looking amber cornerlights, but it's fun to experiment.

I just wanted to break up the silver a bit, and that is reversible, so thought, why not. My lowering kit arrived today, so that's next!
