This is a long shot... Does anyone know of a site where I can find workshop manuals to download? More specifically for the Mercedes W115, or at a push W123 or W107 as they're similar in some respects. I've tried Googling to no avail. I think Autobooks made a manual but I think they must have printed about 23 copies worldwide as they're like poor quality wobbly children's play pony poo!

Annoyingly, I've got a US Haynes W107 manual, and a genuine Merc manual that tonycocacola gave me, but they're both 300 miles away buried in my garage ;D Autofive - that looks like the book. I've never had a proper look through it so I don't know what the content is like - some Autobooks I've seen have been good, others bad. Markbognor - that sounds great, you have PM Thanks guys

Benzboy, google up' Mercedes Classic center', they have all manuals available directly from mercedes in DVD or CD form .Don't bother buying paper manunals because the 'discs" are so much cheaper and have all the updates!.Mercedes contiually rewrite sections of their manuals to allow for developments in the cars.W113 maunals are still being rewritten ,decades after the last car left Stuttgart.

Many years ago I changed my driving style to cope with rising fuel prices; I have now reached the stage where I am contemplating keeping my eyes shut in order to lower wind resistance.

That's great, cheers! I've found a lot of stuff on the W123 is either the same, or only slightly different to the W114/5.
