mk3 capri v8 twin turbo

hi all,while i've been stripping me mk2f polo van ready for spraying (some might have seen my thread on here)i've been driving round in a 200 quid polo 6n.the idea was to drive the 6n through winter while I worked on the van.
the idea was working wonderful for the last couple of months that was till the start of last week.
tuesday night I think it was,i was flicking through ebay as most of us have at one point or another when there's curse word all on tv and it's either go on the net or talk to the missus!!!
browsing through cortinas,escorts anything realy,i came across the capri section.
now years ago I use to have a D reg 1.6 capri laser that I put a 3.0ltr essex in and for some reason I sold it and regret set in quickly but i've never thought to get another(not shure why)
so anyway as I was saying,i was flicking through capri's and came across a 1.6 ls on a B.....looked at it,then carried on scanning through the rest of the capri's but for some reason the little 1.6 ls was sticking in my mind so a quick chat with the missus(yes I do sometimes)and a quick message to the seller for a buy iy now and...hay presto I was the proud owner of a 1.6 ls
the car came with full service history upto 69.500 it's now done 77k..it even came with the original bill of sale,stacks of mots and loads of paperwork for whats been done over the years



the worst bit on the car are the front wings as allways

there's also alittle surface rust here and there around the car and parking ding on the passenger door and wing but the undersides solid and thats always a good starting point lol..
so it looks like iv got yet another ongoing project
