went to take a friends car for an mot picked some random garage, ended up talkin pretty in depth about cars as the guy liked e30's showed me an alpina 2.7 engine he was building, showed me his magenta red 4door mk2 cortina with escort cosworth wheels waiting for a YB transplant, then i noticed some ass ugly thing...yup there in the flesh the minor capri, said it was £100 on ebay and he went and dragged it out of someones front yard
he also had an american pinto with a t5 box on the back of it, and a t3 turbo on the side.
the office was awesome too, some weber carbs sitting about, and the sofas were rear bench leathers from a granada or something with legs welded on.
i love places like that...shame i didnt have a camera on me, and shame the car still failed the mot. borrocks.
