Right now I've had some sleep! The story goes the majority of the cars were bought by my dad during the mid to late 90's, I still say the reason for this was a mid life crisis! He used to have P6s when he first started driving and he just went on a rampage buying every rusty P6 (In total I believe we have 10-12) he could get his hands on. He then went further buying 3 P4 wrecks, the CA camper, the pink zodiac limo (it won't be this one, it's been in the shed for over 10years, and it's always been in this state) ETC ETC The Red Alvis is a rebodied 1927 Silver Eagle and he's had that since his youth as he used to race it, well he raced it once and blew the engine! It's since been fixed and my god it sounds good! He also bought a good condition P4 and P6 (both restored), which are the ones right at the end of my photos, I say bought in good condition as they have just been left and they are now in a sorry state. Even worse of a crime is the TD21, he bought that at auction for a high four figure sum thinking he could make some money on it. But it's since just been garaged in that state from then on. However it was brought out for a family wedding 6-7 years ago and it was still a stunner! Unfortunately £20 won't be enough! Some of those are my aunts, she owns a few maestros, 3 P6s, 3 Heralds, pug 205 diesel for daily. The Mk2 Granda is a family friends and is in mint condition as he was a mechanic who looked after it very well, to say I didn't have my eyes on it I'd certainely be lying! The CF van is my dads pride and joy, but he blew the engine many moons ago and has been sitting there for upwards of 15 years. The cars in the fields are a mixture of field cars and my cousins. The Astra estate, allegro and the chevette were field cars for me and my sister before I knew any better. My sister snapped a part of the steering rack on the astra, the allegro broke and I nearly killed myself in that Chevette (Fire engine jobby after razzing it around a stubble field in the heat of summer). The clubmans were bought because I couldn't reach the pedals of the astras when I was 9! The brown one was the first car I properly drove . The Fiat, cavalier (if theres a photo) and that MK2 cortina were my cousins. He just dumped them on our farm, before I knew any better they have all seen better days. That mk2 cortina was MINT when it arrived, an absolute travesty. Hmm... I actually believe there is a montego buried next to the cortina. The orange transit was a replacement for the CF van, which subsequently caught fire. The black series 3, rangie and e21 are mine. The e21 is my baby, the 3 series has been sitting like that as I was inbetween fixing the brakes when I went to uni and my rangie is my offroad beastie when it isn't cooking batteries. The Volvos were bought as we had a red 340 (might be pictured) and my dad bought them for spares. The Jag sovereign 4.2 was picked up for £100 and hasn't done anything since a few years ago. Ford pop (?) was my dad's field car or maybe, the Renault 4 might of been a car used for shooting at some point and I have no idea what or why that Citroen is there! Phew! I'll happily answer any more Qs you may have, as for visiting I'd be happy to show a few people round, but a lot of the cars in the fields have no been scrapped and I'm only at home for around two weekends a month. Cheers.

It is, but whether it's even worth considering is something else, it's been in that field for decades. It's also my cousins so I don't know what I can do with it as he's not exactly easy to get a hold of, but if my dad's scrapped a few of his other cars I can always ask.
CF Van is unlikely to be honest, Dad holds a lot of sentimental value for it.
Reanimation, my BMW and Land Rovers have been posted in readers rides, but nothing else should of been unless anyones snuck onto the farm!
Seth, unfortunately that herald is actually my aunts and is fully taxed and tested. I can almost guarentee they will never be available sadly.
Cheers.

I've been screaming at my dad for years to get his Decent p6, p4 and the two alvis's back on the road! But he just hasn't got the time at the moment, however I finish my work placement in June and will be spending my summer on the farm... stay tuned!

That's one amazing collection! I don't think I'd ever ever wanna leave if I visited ;D After visiting Jons place i know i could easily spend all the day light hours of a day sniffing around the place. I'm also feeling the love for that CF. seeing custom and polished stuff is one thing but treasure untouched since it was someones daily decades ago is amazing.

it doesn't matter if it's a Morris Marina or a Toyota Celica - it's what you do with it that counts

I can sure get better photos of everything a week saturday when I'm back home. I'll properly check that fiat out but I wouldn't get any hopes up for it! I'll see if I can manouevre (sp?) better to get a better shot of the CF van.
Jex 55, now that would be worth a fortune for a plate. Not sure what my dad's plans are for it. I'll ask him but its more than likely going to be a no for the time being.
Cheers for the great comments, quite chuffed really. I've meant to post these up since July! It has been great growing up around these surroundings as it was said, and I couldn't it any better as I have as much indoor space as I want for cars, and we have a workshop with a pit on site as well!
