EXTERIOR
This amazing Maestro Van is finished in Champagne Beige, (Code LMK), and is incredible. It has been beautifully preserved with all the panels being original and rust free. The previous owner has commissioned some detailing work in order to maintain the remarkable appearance of this van including minor paintwork to the sills and bumpers. The immaculate large clear side panels have remained free from any signwriting and offer a perfect opportunity to promote and advertise a business. No scuffs or dents and with all the trim and badges correct and present this van has had a lucky escape from the normal abuse. An unbelievable example of this now ultra rare 1980’s van.

The dark brown dash complements the interior with all switchgear intact, operational and in first class order. The rear load space is huge offering 85.8 cu ft of usable capacity with no dents or rust, and only very minor scuffs to the flooring. This workhorse has led a very privileged life!
ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
The famous 1.3 litre A-plus engine needs little introduction and is renowned for its driveability and excellent economy, this low mileage example being no exception. The 62bhp feels spirited, is quiet and offers very low maintenance costs. The VW derived four-speed gear box is excellent. All of this is housed in an immaculate engine bay. A strong and reliable classic commercial vehicle.

Serviced by the supplying main dealer until the very recent mileage of 21,139 miles this van must be a one off, and still retains the original dealer number plates and key fob. Subsequent service stamps from S J Tokely Repairs confirm the full service history up to 2006 at 22,817 miles. A collection of MOT certificates help to confirm the mileage. A very rare survivor ready for shows, as an advertising tool or a daily driver classic.
