Read the information LONG AND HARD...it's yet another in a long line of enviro-con scams ,the biggest being the Kyoto protocol where countries could plant trees to off-set polluting products, such as coal being mined in Australia and sold to China.
Australia plants trees in nuimbers big enough to off set the carbon monoxide being produced in China by the Aussie coal. These trees are "carbon Credits"....BUT,Australia can plant extra trees and sell these as "carbon Credits" on a world exchange market...Just like your "terra pass".
Get my Drift?...Plant trees to offset some stinking coal fired powerstation in China? or buy some strange "terra pass" to offset the noise your car makes driving around the UK?.
Thats right! it's all bull!.
Save your money and take a long look at where your money would go,into the coffers of some shinysuit who makes their living from scamming gullible types all over the world and the bigger the scam the more succesful it is.

I don't think they'll only be planting trees to offset the emissions. It said in their "About" section that the money will go to fund different renewable energy projects like wind farms. I didn't realize that people in Europe (I don't know which countries exactly) have to pay a "green tax." I'm not even sure if I have to pay something like a green tax here in the U.S. But to me, it still seems like a good thing to support for now. Because I can tell you now, that my straight-piped Datsun 510 isn't going to pass any smog tests any time soon. I'll probably just get the Road Tripper package meant for SUVs.
