Cruising over to a mtes place on the weekend I ran across this baby. Not retro. But still a fakkin amazing car to see in real life. First time I've been up close and personal with one of these, usually only see them whipping by on thew motorway or where ever. Totally groovy. I beleive those are pimp wheels not the OE fit ones. You just don't get how BIIIIG these buggrs are until you are up next to one. And remember I have an Olds 98 at home... I know what big is. Anyway, some pics And to redress some retro ballance, this Mk2 Cav looks mint but never seems to go anywhere....

those cars are awesome.
I am just amazed at how right BMW got it straight out the box with the Phantom. All they bought was a name basically, and they come up with that. You've gotta salute their skillz0rz. Those rimZ are a bit ghey though.

They don't look as bad in the photos as they do IRL LOL.
I kinda get the idea, but they are just not the right wheels to do it with. I looked, I think they are 24s.
A bit of slam and get one in black rather than the silver every one of these I've seen is and you're getting there. Theres not much if anything I think I'd change on one of these. Spot on. As has been said, 10/10 right out of the box. I love cars that aren;t afraid to be big and imposing. They sort of bully the air out of the way rather than ponce about with any of that limp wristed aerodynamics rubbish.
Whos up for taking a 60s Cloud (as in the spots thread from a few days back) and modding it into a Phantom inspired modern custom? All I need is the money and I'd be there...
Or a Vanden Plas Princess.... Hmmmm....

I think Royces look fantastic, despite the P diddy image. Though i'd still rather have a Bentley Arnage (with the proper push rod V8, not the curse word bmw engined jobbie they sold for a bit.)

it doesn't matter if it's a Morris Marina or a Toyota Celica - it's what you do with it that counts

When I first saw the new roller on TV couldn't believe how ugly it was. But when I first saw one on posh Bond Street in central London, being driven by a chauffer, it all made perfect sense. They are so huge and brash that in their correct setting they are perfect. Since seen them quite a bit down in that area, including Robbie Williams in the back seat of his one....

We make the front wings for those in Worcester.....enormous.
Not sure if I like them or not, but you cannot deny they have enormous road presence....think if I had the choice I'd go for a Bentley Continental GT though.

you can tell a cars classy when it comes with an umbrella thats worth more than my fleet!
my initials are probably in that roller somewhere! I get the "pleasure" of making the seats. if you think one of them has presence, try going to the factory! imagine hundreds of the buggers rolling round! the only way we could tell one was coming was by the squeaks of the tyres on the floor. they were stupidly quiet. even with the bonnet open it was hard to hear the engine.
we have a cannibalised one somewhere in the factory. a quarter of a million pound car hacked to bits for the sake of testing. jeez.
weve done some horrendous interiors recently. bright pink, bright yellow etc. ugh...
edit: some random trivia: the one in the gaydon motor museum has its rear headrests on the wrong way. they're facing backwards.
