Hi guys up for sale is my dads Mercedes 190E 1.8 Manual in black. My dad has owned the car for approx 8years now and it's been a great car! I was hoping to buy it myself but with recent purchase of a home I just couldn't afford to do so
it has black electric leather interior, power steering, electric windows and mirrors. It has a sunroof although it is manual and not electric. The interior is in fair condition, the passenger door are has slight damage on top, the mats are also a bit tatty however the rest is sound exterior wise the paintwork is in good condition although in need of a good machine polish to restore it to the best of conditions. All arches are clean apart from the front driver wing which ideally needs replacing
The car also comes fitted with a towbar. It's sitting on 16" Avantgarde alloys with good tyres all round. I believe it's possibly lowered slightly but unsure what springs they are. Steering box has recently been reconditioned as well as both steering pivot bushes being replaced in the past couple years
The engine is good and pulls well considering its a 1.8 in a relatively large car. It's a nice smooth lazy drive its brilliant on motorway cruises etc. also has CD player fitted for your choons along said cruises
If I think of anything else I shall add but that's what I can remember, all in all it's a cracking motor and manages to get a fair few comments from people, it would benefit from a bit of TLC to make it amazing! (which is what I wanted to do) and would be ideal as a cool daily hack or a fun light resto project
We're based in Wolverhampton approx 10mins from J10 M6. My dad would be best to contact although he can be a bit hard to get hold of with his shifts so any problems feel free to give myself a try as I know a fair bit about the car myself! our numbers are posted above.
