TR7 & Maestro PCD Deleted

Just to confirm my suspicions and internet hunting, but am I correct in thinking that the TR7 has the same PCD as the Maestro and that TR7 steels/alloys are usually a 14" flavour?
Forgot to say, my Maestro is on the 4 x 95.25 (or 3 3/4") PCD hubs.
I want to be sure I've got this right before committing to an idea I have.

I'm pretty sure TR7 wheels are normally 13" but am prepared to be corrected. They were also hubcentric so I'm not sure if the wheel nuts can be relied upon to centralise them properly. Never really looked into why though.

A lot of the easy swap wheels I don't like for what I have planned, or just don't like at all - I have an aversion to lattice alloys and hate minilites - which limits what I can choose somewhat.
I gather that the TR7 alloys are hubcentric, but that the Maestro isn't, so there's something specific I need to do to make them fit properly.

All TR7 wheels, whether they are steel or alloy, are 5.5JX13" in 3.75" PCD.
I have about 15 sets of period (late sixties to early eighties) rims in this fitment that might suit your Maestro. If you have anything particular in mind, give me a shout - I haven't got any lattice wheels or Minilites!

I'm after something chunky and no-nonsense looking to match the 70s/80s styling. Current favourites in my head are the TR7 alloys with the stand-up-sticky-ou... here's a picture: Or some steel Weller types like this: Whatever I go for, they have to be 14".

Ah, fair enough. I've got 14s but not sure that they'd go with your concept. I've got the Wellers, but only in 13" I'm afraid.
The TR7 alloys above were only ever made in 13".

I guess some people must be listing TR7 wheels incorrectly then, as I've seen both alloys, steels and trims listed as 14" and 13" for the same thing and I really didn't know which was correct.
What other 14" wheels do you have in this fitment? Something might work. I've given some though to even using 3 spoke Saab Aero type wheels if I could get the right fitment so I'm fairly open to suggestions.
Looks like the TR7 idea is a dead end now though.

TR7 wheels be it steels or alloys were only ever 13" from the factory, and they are indeed 3 3/4" (95.25) PCD same as Maestro/Montego so I guess they were listed wrong unless they were aftermarket.

Volksangyl, the only wheels I have in 14" that are available at the moment are Compomotive CXNs, but I'm afraid that they are similar to the lattice-style that you/re not keen on. On the flip side they are a chunky (6J) eighties wheel that have been painted in Heather Violet, so may appeal to you on curiosity grounds! They were once worn by a Maestro too.
PM me if you'd like me to get some photos.

Same as Metro and early (I think) Maestros and Montegos. I'm fairly certain that Austin Metro is 4x4" and not 3 3/4". Rover Metro/100 is definitely 4x3 3/4" though.

Compomotive CXN... Google, help me out here. Like this? Or like this? If it's the former I could be interested, the latter not so much, even in violet. And I know to beware the metric wheel. Though you did make me find this too. Which I actually like and are nearly a lattice wheel, so that's an achievement. No idea what they are though. Similar to an Alleycat, but chunkier looking so if they were 14" flavour they would work... I bet someone knows what they are and I bet I'd need adaptors to fit them and the luck of the Irish to find a set in the right size, or at all.

Unhelpfully my CXNs are somewhere inbetween those! Photos will help, I'll get some this week.
I keep picturing your Maestro on chunky Wellers with Kleber tyres!

Just to skim another one in, Triumph Spitfire/GT6's/Dolomites use the same PCD, as do some older Caterhams (used Ital axles and hubs).
