I have been tasked with selling this car, it belongs to my sister-in-laws dad who lives in Spain! Worry not, the car is in Chasetown, West Midlands. It was his UK runner but don't come over so much any more so hires a car instead.
It's a 2000 - W Rover 45 IL 1.6.
Mileage to be confirmed as the battery is flat (Currently on charge) *EDIT* Mileage is 52800! So not many miles since MOT!
MOT'd til March 6th 2013. To give an idea of mileage it was 51752 when MOT'd back in Feb! It wont be much more than that now.
As I mentioned the battery is flat so on charge! But runs, drives, I don't know much about the car so viewing highly recommended!
My observations so far are
NO radio
Rear 1/4 light on back door was smashed, has been replaced but damage to metal where they hit it with a brick!
Drivers mirror is all a bit floppy on it's mount, you can see in the pic where someone put some sealer in.
Various other age related marks, scrapes and dinks
Blower only works on speed 3 and 4, typical Rover
Electric mirrors work
Took it for a small drive goes ok, pulls ok, stops on but parcel shelf rattles! 1/4 tank of petrol in it
It has a towbar with single 'leccy
That's about it! No tax, but MOT til March, a nice winter runner all for £300!
