If they phased out cheques, how are they going to manage to screw people over when they migrate ISA's? You just do a transfer don't ask for it is a cheque otherwise you loose the tax free part and can only start again.... not according to watchdog

I'v e never used the Bexleyheath one though have used EMR many times in the past. EMR's the big yard round here. A lot of the smaller yards run in there though they of course get better prices than the likes of you or me. It's a pro set up if you like that sort of thing but have with you much ID, a hard hat, vis, blood and urine sample etc and be prepared to treated like a James (Blunt)* I use Scrapco on Erith marshes (continue down Manor Rd past all the horses onto the Darrent Industrial estate) It's tidied up a lot these days and you'll need ID with a pic of you and your address on though I find it's a smaller, friendlier yard than EMR where if you behave in a decent manor you won't be treated like a James If the blocks or are alloy you can weigh them in as Irony and make a bit more. Could be worth taking the heads off if they're made of the light stuff and doing them separate. If you can't be arsed then drop us a pm and I'll take them with the next run, you're in Welling right?

I sit in me yard and strip everything alloys blocks go in with the cast alloy (£800 a ton) engine internals go in a drum as N01 shearing (£150 at the mo) everything else goes in as light iron on the weekly clearup (£125) appart from leccy motors cats and other non ferrous obv TBH the cash ban makes no odds to me i've been registerd at me local scrappys for years and have been supplying ID and vehical details for the past 2 years. I will be taking the money transfer route personly as i aint got owt to hide ;D although them on the bridge still have no idea whats happening cos the gov have as usuall come out with an over complicated sceme to prevent theft that in reality wont actually work cos as usuall the person (highly) paid to come up with the idea does not have a fooking clue about the subject they are making rules about!!! How the hell is this going to stop theft? say they come into the yard and find some stolen rail sections and they ask who brought that in ? and the yard says oh no idea we have had 120 people come in today who we paid out for on shearing but we have all thier bank account details like you asked untill each recipt is tagged to a load it is plums. It is getting harder to run frag legit nowdays but not harder for the dodgy ones, i meen you only need to remove the engine and that car you have no V5 for can leagaly be scrapped as light iron as it's no longer classed as a vehical without the engine, even if it's in the dam boot! who curse word idea was that new law eh? somone who gets paid a shed load of money to do a curse word job thats who Mind you i'm 99% leagal so it doesn't really affect me although i don't have a waist carryers liecence which really annoys the team that pull you in on a friday outside the yard to check all your paperwork, i've just taken over this new yard you see and i'm clearing my own waist
