Rightyho, you remember the carb which disappeared from my outside tool chest a few days ago? The one boxed up in the package it came to me in? The one I assumed someone had nicked not knowing what was in the parcel?
Well, I had a card through my letter box saying I had a parcel to collect from the PO so I went down the sorting office to collect it and guess what it was?
MY CARBURETTOR!
Its still in the box it came to me in last summer, still postmarked from then.
WTF?
I aint complaining because I got it back, I am just perplexed!

Maybe the thief got it home and it didn't fit his engine, so he posted it back to you.

postman saw it somehow and figured someone on a different day had left it and it needed collecting before it was stolen OR thought it had to be posted, saw the stamp on it and took it with him in a brave effort to be a good soul!

i think that you never had the carb.
you 'thought' you had the carb - a dream - an insane moment maybe. it then arrived as imagined.
or something.

Perhaps you have fallen through a 'quiog' which is a made-up word for a hole in the earth's time vortex blanket. Now you are actually recieving the carburettor for the first time, as for you it is still 2003 or whenever it is you recieved it. However your tool box and garage etc are still in 2007 hence why the gear is missing out of it. Obvious really. If you want to get out of this situation, kick the back out of your wardrobe and walk right through it, that usually sort it out. Look out for lions.

Eh?
Next you'll be recieving polaroids through the post of your carburettor snapped in compromising positions with burly-looking manifolds.
