Check out some good quality footage of Bosozoku bikers :
From a film/documentry coming out this year
On one of the Option DVDs I believe they go to a show with some of the boso cars there.. but nice to see that footage.

There's something intimidating about it...but it seems to be the pnly purpose. It's like regimented naughtiness...fireworks, uniforms, loud exhausts. It's not drive-by shootings and drugs is it? I supposed it's good Yakusa training though.
I know I don't understand the culture anywhere near enough to actually make any real observations about it...but it all seems a bit 'Bugsy Malone' looking at those videos doesn't it? ;D

blimey.
I wonder what the reaction would be if someone posted vids of British lads in hoodies doing the same thing, razzing about in beat up Jags or Scorpios baiting the cops on a town centre street? Are those fireworks or home made pipe bombs!?! Seriously someone could get hurt and I fear that was the intention....

Yeah genuine Bosozoku gangs aren't fluffy amusing Japanese things, more like 70's style hells angels.
But the boso cars are a bit of a throwback thing now,.. kind of like business men riding around on choppers....

Some good vids there couldn't help laughing when the guy with the Cedric in the first one yanked the oil cooler pipes out showing that it wasn't even connected up ;D
