Only kidding, variety is no bad thing! You'll be right at home, there are a few Mini owners around here.

Or maybe we could convert a few of the guys on here to the joys of Imp ownership Rev Well the Skoda crowd are already part of the way there, they already have rear engined cars that the general public takes the curse word out of! ;D ;D ;D

Hello! I like 1275's - I drove one once but I ended up in a hedge. My friends sister wasn't best pleased (it was her car). I just got carried away with the go-kart style handling! Welcome aboard!

Hello, welcome to the forum I'm a Mini nut too....got 5 of 'em. Harvest Gold is a great colour, My '73 Cubman automatic (with solid subframe mounts, rare as!) is Harvest Gold. I'll have a look for a picture of it.

Is fairly solid, JUST needs a windscreen pillar, lower a-post and a new front end as usual. There is less than an inch between the tyres and the front wheels arches cos the rubber cones are the originals and have compressed a tad! Rmad and ScrapingScrap would be pleased. ;D

Random Mini/BL question: How many different shades of Mustard/Gold/Yellow were there in the 70s? Only my old '72 Mini was a mustardy colour (but lighter/slightly more green than that) and a mate had one that was different again... I've always wondered!
And random comment: I love that blue that they did Minis in, in the late 70s/early 80s - not Nautilus Blue (I had one of those too) but the lighter one...

Blimey 77mini you must have a big garage. I like your clubby, especially the cheap lowering job.
Not sure how many different shades of Gold/Beige Leyland Made Darren but your 72 min sounds like it was Limeflower. The Blue could be padgent blue.

Thats sounds about right Ministrone, Teal blue was also very similar.
Anybody remember these colours....Green Mallard, Rheingold Metallic, Tundra, Bracken, Antique gold, Bronze yellow and Reynard
The red Min to the right is the '84 City, needs another front end, the blue one is the Neon, just needs a battery and an MOT and next to that is the '89 Mayfair bodyshell, the '77 1000 is outside.

For some reason Bracken seems to have been a popular colour for early 1275 gt's
