For sale is a 2000 W Reg Vauxhall Combo van with the bulletproof 1.7 Isuzu diesel engine.
Good bits:
Registered 04/05/2000.
Starter motor only a few months old.
New clutch 2011.
Excellent battery.
Central locking.
Radio cassette.
Tidy inside.
Excellent runner with plenty of pull averaging 45+mpg
112,000 miles.
Bad bits:
Tatty bodywork.
Tax & test until the end of November 2012.
It's a bit slow to start when cold these days so I'd say it needs new glow plugs.
It'll definitely want a couple of brake pipes and one or two tyres for mot. I'm not sure what else. Please come and have a look round the van and decide for yourself.
Rocker gasket slightly leaky but very dry engine bay for an old diesel.
He van has been used daily by my father in law as his works (plumber) and recreational vehicle for the last 8 years. He's getting close to retiring now so has replaced it with an astra estate.
