this is my lads car, he needs it gone asap as its justsat on his mums drive takin up space!!      it has a couple of faults (as usual ), the speedo sometimes just has enough and has a day off then starts working again, and the idle air control valve is playing up, its still starts and drives as he still uses it for work, it has recently had a few tyres, it also has some apex turbo controller 'thingy'.......but we don't know how to set it up so it hasnt been touched sounds nice in a loud'ish subaru burbly kind of way thanks to the full s/s system but he also has the standard exhaust inc cat for mot's make a reat track day car with a lil bit of work  £900 or swap for a astra size van for work if anyones has owt then let me know and ill pass on the details, oh, the cars in Abingdon OX14 cheers |

Hmmm, I've been considering a track car for a while. What work does it need? In not overly bothered about the bodywork, but does it need any engine/suspension work at all?

Hmmm, I've been considering a track car for a while. What work does it need? In not overly bothered about the bodywork, but does it need any engine/suspension work at all? hey mate, suspension/brakes all good, as for engine work id be very suprised if you'd need to go 'into' the motor as it was running sweet right up untill it stalled at a set of lights, the engine light came on along with an idle that went from about 2k, down to 500rpm, back up to 2k, and so on, did the diagnostics thing (connect 2 wires under the dash and check the blink code) and it says 'idle air control valve circuit malfunction (or something like that) it also came up with speed sensor as the speedo decided to stop working at the same time - connected maybe  not sure why it wont rev beyond 4k tho, it all just happened when it stalled !!! someone on another forum has suggested it may have gone into 'limp' mode due to the above fault codes, maybe other than that its good to go ;D |

I belive it is a UK.
Only things which make me say that is it appaers to have a UK rear bumper and lights.
V5 will confirm if it is a UK or JDM model

Yes, as per above. Maybe could have lowered the price closer to what was offered for it scrap value. I'd have been interested at about £500.

yeap i totally agree, i didnt know anything about it till tonight when i updated thread, id have been much happier giving it to someone on here rather than the travellers taking it away but there ya go, bloody kids |
