just parked in the street down from my house I spotted this when nipping out for a bottle of milk Sorry the photo is shonky, phone camera in the dark and rain. I'm always amazed how cool the stuff that parks down my street or in walking distance of my house is. Its an Armstrong Siddely Whitley if you don't recognise it. I always wanted a A/S Typhhon or Hurricane when I was a kid.

Wow, unusual sighting. Saw a green one of these on the telly recently but can't remember what the program was. There used to be a Star Sapphire sat in the yard of a place a worked some years ago. needed restoring but was really solid and could have been had for under £500. Probably ended it's days on the banger track no doubt.

My father-in-law wants a Star Sapphire - the alternative to a Jag mkII. Not quite as stylish but doesn't command the "posh" scene tax that a Jag does!

dunno about that. Mk2 Jags are nowhere near what they used to be price wise and Saphires, especially Star Saphires are well rare and v. pricey! Gorgeous cars, far better built than Jags I reckon.

round here there is tons of good stuff. Everything from a 1890s (yes I did type that right) Stanley Steamer I occasionally see out on the roads through a 1919 Peugeot Grand Prix car which sounds like hell, to a 1930s Roller or three, the A/S, Austin 7 trials car, MGBs, Beetles, Mk1 Passat, Mk1 Capri, stretched Mk2 Garanda, some yanks, a couple of hot rods, to my old tat.
Another trip round with a camera is called for
