Incredibly i'm pretty sure i've seen a Minor with a mk1 Capri rear end before! That one was complete though, running and driving, and looking pretty reasonable actually!

It's crying out for INSANELY wide drag slicks on the back, with some serious rake.

what does he mean "doesnt need to be tested"... He means as its already been on the road like that before it doesnt need an engineers report, just MOT it as "normal". I don't care, youd feel a right wally driving that.

That's a real shame... It's got a glass pop-up sunroof, I hate them. Me too! I've travelled miles to look at a car which the owner insisted has a "factory fitted" sunroof, only to turn round and go home when I find it's got a leak-o-matic Britax or similar. It's especially prevelant on VWs cus the steel sliders cost a mint when new

I really think the trick with this is; my prescription P shop, and modyfying the front and rear to hell deflecting the eye and making it less obvious that its a cut and shut of two cars! problem for our trained eyes is, it will always be a moggy weled to a capri! or adding more moggy bodywork on the back, like smoothing in moggy wings etc and custom fully welded up tailgate/boot, custom window somehow... Potential - but only for the brave!

it doesn't matter if it's a Morris Marina or a Toyota Celica - it's what you do with it that counts

A Mipri. Not my cuppa tbh. The swoopy 50's americana shape of the mogg just doesn't go with the 70's set-square styling of the crapi.
At all.

Urrgh! the creator would of been better taking the window frame shape off the capri and a few other bits and pieces and adding them to a full bodied moggy, bit like the mod-mods (boy)racers do nowadays and olden days customs. wasnt there a half capri half jag? Crapuar? ;D anyone got a picture? anyone know the the creators 'visions' are? or just too much marry-ju-ana?

I recon with a load of work it might be a bit of a beast.........

I like the idea but i think the 2 shapes of the back end of a capri and front end moggy don't really compliment each other well. It is unique though and deserves points for that.

I can actually see a concoction of minor and capri that could work...... if one narrowed the roof of the crapi, then cut the rear quarters under the swage line and maried the minor quareter up to the crapi one. then the door bottom would flow with the quarter properly. too uch work, it would be easier to scratch build a fasty roof for the moggy. or just wack the capri running gear under a moggy ;D much better plan! best I stay sober while I can remember this, you know whats on my drive- wouldn't want any "accidents", mwuhahahaha! ;D

Not seen that in years. It was in Practical Classics once when some silly was complaining that it shouldn't free road tax.
