Old school Mitsi Evo owners advice please

i've got a real hankering for a 1,2 or 3 evo

I know this is daft given the mpg/petrol prices but frankly I don't care ;D

Is there anything I should steer clear of, it wont be a daily but I do want a fair bit of use out of it, is this possible/practical ?

i've heard evo's need servicing every 3k, is this true?

I used to own a scooby and despite being a vw fanatic with four vw projects at the mo I cant shake the desire for a silly fast ride again
