Currently run a 1995 Rover 620 and for a bit of fun a 1988 Lotus Excel SE
I will post some piccies when I can.
Have owned a few retros over the years:
68 Morris Minor van (82-3) 67 Cortina Super (82-87) 67 Anglia Super (87-90) 80 Lancer GSR (92-93) 78 Celeste GSR (92) 69 Herald 13/60 (2001-2004)
Had the Lotus since 2003. Cracking motor.

Welcome! As ^^^that lot^^^ said, love to see pics of the Excel! Come to think of it I'm getting partial to the Rover 600 too! Do you have any pics of your past retros? I'm intreagued as I don't know what a Celeste looks like

Rover 600s are really good cars, and really nice looking. they're the best late model Rover by far, (perhaps except the 75 V8 ) all Honda mechanicals so no perpetual head gasket failure to worry about.

I pondered buying an Elite recently from a member here, so I'll be interested to read about your Excel.
Welcome

it doesn't matter if it's a Morris Marina or a Toyota Celica - it's what you do with it that counts

I pondered buying an Elite recently from a member here, so I'll be interested to read about your Excel. Welcome I have written a full review of the Excel and it should be in the Club Lotus Magazine soon. I will post it on here too. Where do you put stuff like that or should I just do it as a normal post?
