babelfish gave this half ar$ed translation. Brutal cadet C Coupe 2,0L 16v DOHC hello, offers means cadet to the sales on. The car is for 11 years in my possession and also from me NEW developed/was converted. But like it always like that comes the time is where man from it unfortunately to sometime separate must. Now have you the chance the good piece too ersteigern. I have the cadet with red 07 characteristics driven there it more cheaply am than everything to be registered and/or Tuev made. The vehicle does not have TUEV and is also nothing registered. After the completion the cadet did not buy 2000Km driven as I before 11 years the cadet was built and also registered one 2,0l/74 KW engine with carburetor in the FZ letter. To be found Karoserrie the Karoserrie completely divided and also sand-radiated up to roof-rust-moderately was good the Karoserrie, the rust-stricken to place rausgetrennt and by Orginal OPEL sheet metals those very heavily were, and also much expensive were replaced. The wheel arches were cut open in front and in the back and by sheet metal weld widened in front ca.3cm per side in the back ca.8 cm per side. Aluminum rims ATS aluminum rims in the quantities 8x13 ET 0 tires Dunlop FR 2000.205/50 13 in front in the back new 9,5x13 ET -16 tires Dunlop FR 2000.225/45 13 the wheel arches look optical like Orginal. Engine the engine originates from an E cadet GSI 2,0L 16 V it the engine with attachments and wiring harness, digitally cockpit was converted. The engine had run ca.145000 km loud digitally cockpit. I divided the engine completely and was painted new sealed and also in car color. Also the famous Cosi cylinder head was planned overhaul like and ground in valve seats new. Transmission comes from the OPEL omega A 2,0L cage the cage is completely self-builds and extra was made. The cage is like one fully cell only which it with the Karoserrie is bolted. The cage and/or the cell is from the engine compartment to trunk sees pictures bolted. Axles Orginal cadet 2,0L front axle Orginal cadet 2,0L rear axle without barrier, 3,67 translation brakes OPEL record 2,2L Innenbeluefftet Orginal drum brakes lacquer finish lacquer finish only before 3 years by a specialized who place inside and outside in effect Blaumettalic was painted in front, in the back, gleams in the sun Lila.Alleine the lacquer finish has me 2900 euro gekostet.Und also super was painted, and also 3 time with clear lacquer covered. The cadet is like it also in the pictures sees really well converted in detail. Unfortunately it has also small lack. Giver for digital the cockpit Tacho defect quadrant rubber does not keep it must still another tension condenser clean be blocked because the battery in the trunk is and a voltage drop is the case ist.(Weg to for a long time from Lichtmaschiene to the battery) the pictures is current and to show the momentary condition of the vehicle. Dents, no rust, no damage there it around a complete change does not act give I naturally no warranty or Gewaerleistung. Each Bieter has to regard the possibility the car before and also by me is gewuescht!! Later complaints schliese I out. For further inquiries 0171/ 7334843 no SMS!! For Spassbieter my lawyer will worry and 50% of ersteigerungspreis the in complaining area of jurisdiction is pastures i.d.Opf.92637 hope thats some use till a germen speaker arrives.

well, the car is in deepest bavaria, close to the czech border.... most of the bable fish is correctly translated; a few things :
- the car was totally taken apart, sandblasted except of the roof; there was not too much rust, all the panels , which were rusty, where replaced with original OPEL OEM parts, expensive and rare. This car was not registered for the last couple of years, it was used with a "07"plate (collectors plates), because it was cheaper to run with this plate ( In germany you have to get all the modifications in the german V5; expensive and sometimes not easy). The german V5 says it is a 2,0l with 74kW/100BHP. The red top engine comes from an Astra E (=Kadett E) 16V, head was modified, new valve seats, skimmed. The gear box comes from an Omega A (Carlton in the UK?), front an rear axle from the Kadett (3,67 diff , no LSD though), front brakes from a Carlton 2,2l (vented discs)..
downsides:
- sensor for digital instruments defective - gear lever suround broken - as the battery is in the trunk, it loses power due to problems with the wiring (? sounds strange..)
these are the most important things... if you need translation if the seller doesn't speek english, let me know, I can help you then...
and if you do the road trip, you're welcome for a pit-stop here ;D
edit: one important thing i forgot : as the car hasn't been officially registered in germany, you need new TÜV to get an export plate; this is nearly impossible, as you would have all the modifications reported.... the only (legal) way would be a 3 or 5 day plate, but for this you need an insurance from a german resident (i would consider the seller ...); in germany it is important, to have these plates when driving on the road; i think in france or the UK no-one cares... i have seen vans with cardboard license plates on the way to the UK, no-one really cared at the borders...

I had the battery in the boot for a bit and it had terrible trouble cranking. Didn't matter how thick the wires were or how well it was earthed it still lost a few volts front to back.

Your money , but I can think of better ways of doing £2k and I love Kadetts Arches are just wrong And that Scaffolding is adding diddly squat except weight The elaborate frame work front and rear are not tied in to the suspension pickups....... So exactly what are they doing Protecting the battery and painted cam cover in the event of a roll over ;D Checkerplate door cards and Badboy bonnet...... why oh why Its got No LSD No Period GTE interior (which are the main reasons you would buy over there in the first place) Non standard or period arches Not even registered 8x13 ats` are par for the course The Asconadaz mobile was the right reason and the right car to do the trip for......... this one......TBH I think there are more worthy and "Honest" cars over there

I will agree that the cage is over the top, dosen't look like he spent too much time thinking about where the car really flexes.
Not that easy to tell here as bracing shock tower-shock tower in T cars is pretty much useless as they do not run a coil over setup. But I would like to know where those front bars connect to.
I do agree on the rear arches tho, just plain don't work.
Engine is awesome, wouldn't mind having one of them in my coupe.
I have mine in the boot, haven't found that it's hard to crank, but it seems to drop voltage on the way back - have been caught with a flat battery more than once.
So: boo checkerplate, roll cage, arches +1 color, engine, ATS rims

Yea, just to say pretty much the same as everybody else, there's quite a hefty drop in volts over the cables. Not sure how big mine are!
Doesn't seem to give any troubles cranking though, just a slightly lower readin' on the Voltmeter than I'm used to!

thanks for all the advice, in particular the excellent traslation. i had no idea from what i can read that it wasn't even domestically registered. in the end i didn't bid. partly due to the above, and partly due to me having had a ligament reconstruction op on my knee so not really being able to drive 1 mile nevermind 2000 miles any time soon guess i will have to put my pimped lhd kadett plans on hold for a bit...
